Academic Experience
I graduated from the Dental Technology University in Athens and I received myfirst Bachelor’s degree (BDetTech) in December 2003. The topic of my diploma thesis was ‘gypsum in dental technology.’
I obtained my second Bachelor’s degree from the Dental School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (BDent) in July 2009 .
In order to fulfill the requirements for such a degree, it is mandatory that any student completes three years of apprenticeship in clinics and personally attends an overall of about 100 patients (prosthetics, oral surgery, stomatology, operative dentistry, periodontics, endodontics) .
Simultaneously to studying dentistry I attended a one-year-long postgraduate masters’ course on Teaching Students of Healthcare Professions, (M.Ed.).
I also successfully completed a 2 years -long postgraduate course on implantology (Dip.Dent.) from the City Unity College of Seattle in Athens.
The program was certified by EDEXCEL as a Diploma in Implantology.
(The full title is: “implantology – oral surgery – aesthetic of perioral area combined with Concentrated Growth Factors (CGF) .
Afterwards, I obtained one year master’s certificate in implantology (M.Dent.) which was held:
1. At the City unity college of Seattle in Athens, Greece and
2. At OT implant studio in Bologna and in Unimore (university of Modena), Italy.
This master’s program includes theory and clinical practice of surgical and prosthetic implant systems.

He is demonstrating his surgeries in several top clinics in Thessaloniki like
Dimitreio dental clinic
The clinic is located it in the center of Thessaloniki city
It is just 30 minutes away from the international airport Makedonia of Thessaloniki
It is a new beautiful clinic with a modern lab in house using advanced dental printers, for fast and quality delivery of your implant prosthesis
What is an implant?

Overview
A dental implant is a titanium post (like a tooth root) that is surgically positioned into the jawbone beneath the gum line that allows your dentist to mount replacement teeth or a bridge into that area. An implant doesn’t come loose like a denture can. Dental implants also benefit general oral health because they do not have to be anchored to other teeth, like bridges.
Oral Care Specifics to IMPLANTS
If you are considering implants, you must have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant. If your bone is too thin or soft and unable to support an implant, you may require a bone graft. Or if there is not enough bone height in the upper jaw or the sinuses are too close to the jaw, you may require a sinus lift.
Single tooth implant

What are the advantages of a single-tooth dental implant over a bridge?
A dental implant provides several advantages over other tooth replacement options. In addition to looking and functioning like a natural tooth, a dental implant replaces a single tooth without sacrificing the health of neighboring teeth. The other common treatment for the loss of a single tooth, a tooth-supported fixed bridge, requires that adjacent teeth be ground down to support the cemented bridge.
Because a dental implant will replace your tooth root, the bone is better preserved. With a bridge, some of the bone that previously surrounded the tooth begins to resorb or deteriorate. Dental implants integrate with your jawbone, helping to keep the bone healthy and intact.
In the long term, a single implant can be more aesthetic and easier to maintain than a bridge. Gums can recede around a bridge, leaving a visible defect when the metal base or collar of the bridge becomes exposed. Resorbed bone beneath the bridge can lead to an unattractive smile. And, the cement holding the bridge in place can wash out, allowing bacteria to decay the teeth that anchor the bridge.
Implants supporting a bridge - Full mouth implant bridge (Not removable)

An implant-supported bridge is similar to a traditional bridge, but it rests atop dental implants instead of natural teeth. Dental implants are small threaded posts that replace missing teeth roots. Before attaching a bridge to dental implants, your implants must fully integrate (fuse) with your jawbone.
Full Fixed Arch Implant Bridges
Fixed full-arch implant-supported bridges use six to eight prosthetic implants to retain the most natural appearance of teeth. Unlike the overdenture, this prosthesis can only be removed at the dentist’s office.
What is Teeth in a day?

“Teeth in a Day” is a dental implant solution to provide edentulous patients with an efficient and effective restoration all in one day. This technique was developed to simplify treatment in full-mouth rehabilitation in edentulous patients by placement of titanium implants in each jaw. This technique stabilises bone levels in the jawbone to prevent deterioration of facial structure. New teeth are provided same-day as implant surgery so patients leave the office with a new set of fixed teeth.
Who is eligible for the procedure?
1. Patients with no teeth or significant tooth loss
2. Patients who currently wear dentures or will need dentures
3. Patients who have bone loss that prevents them from getting traditional dental implants
4. Patients with diabetes, osteoporosis, and other health conditions that are contraindicated for bone grafting
What are the advantages?
1. Immediate result and satisfaction
2. Improves appearance by providing natural-looking teeth that feel and work like natural teeth
3. Success rates are higher than traditional implant techniques
4. Requires no or minimal bone grafting because implants are placed at an angle that allows for increased contact of bone
5. Procedure is performed in a single day, including the surgery and placement of fixed, non-removable teeth
6. Highly hygienic, easy to maintain and clean, and never need to be removed
7. Significantly reduces healing time compared to conventional implant methods
8. Improves overall eating
How is it different from dentures?
1. Do not have to be taken out
2. No need for adhesives
3. Do not press on gums, therefore, more comfortable
4. Allow you to bite with increased force so you can eat your favorite foods again
5. Prevents bone deterioration
6. Restores facial features
7. Allows you to experience cold and hot foods
What are some of the steps needed?
1. During your consultation at Blair Ridge Dental, we provide an examination, X-ray, and 3D CT scan
2. You will consult with one of the local implantologists
3. You will complete steps to prepare for surgery which allows for teeth to be ready for the day of surgery and determination of the best locations for your dental implants.
4. Surgery (placement of dental implants) will take place at the surgeon’s office. A doctor will be at the surgeon’s office to place fixed, non-removable teeth. These teeth are a transitional prosthetic that are worn during the healing phase to provide comfort and stability while the dental implants heal.
5. After a healing time of three to six months, the permanent, non-removable teeth are made. These teeth are reinforced to provide stable and fixed long-term teeth.
